GREATER ROME CHAMBER OF COMMERCE TO HOLD 101ST ANNUAL MEETING TOMORROW NIGHT

The Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce will hold its 101st Annual Meeting this Thursday (tomorrow) evening at the Forum in downtown Rome.  Chamber President Al Hodge says he is looking forward to hearing from guest speaker J. Mac Holladay, Chief Executive Officer for Market Street Services.  Hodge says that Holladay has done a great deal of work in the area of economic and community development and has been instrumental in the implementation of the Chamber’s Rome/Floyd 20/20 plan.  

Also at the Chamber’s Annual Meeting, the gavel will be passed from 2011 Chairman of the Board Greg Sumner to 2012 Chair Angie Lewis.  Awards will also be presented to Chamber members, according to Hodge.

Again, the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce’s 101st Annual Meeting will be held this Thursday (tomorrow) evening at the Forum in downtown Rome.  A reception will be held at 6 pm and will be followed by dinner at 6:30 pm and then the program.  Get more information by calling Lisa Smith at the Greater Rome Chamber of Commerce at (706) 291-7663 or email lsmith@romega.com.
