It’s that special time of year for students and their families – graduation time!  Both Darlington School and Rome High School held their graduation ceremonies this past weekend, with all the schools in the Floyd County Schools to hold theirs this weekend.

All of the Floyd County Schools will hold their graduation ceremonies at The Forum in downtown Rome, as did Rome High School this past Saturday.

The Forum General Manager Brent Poplin anticipates a flurry of activity this week at his venue.  He says that not only will graduation ceremonies be held there this weekend, each will be preceded by rehearsals.

The graduation schedule is as follows:

Friday, May 24th – Coosa at 7 pm

Saturday, May 25th – Armuchee at 10 am, Pepperell at 2:30 pm and Model at 7 pm.

Poplin says that parking will be available for $5 at the Third Avenue parking deck.  Free parking will be available in the Fourth Avenue parking deck, at the Law Enforcement Center on Fifth Avenue and on West Third Street.
