EXHIBIT OF LOCAL ART ON DISPLAY AT GEORGIA HIGHLANDS
The library on the Floyd campus of Georgia Highlands College is playing host to an exhibit featuring the Pear Street Painters, a collaborative group of Rome and Floyd County artists that gather once a week to paint, inspire each other and offer mutual critiques, according to a GHC media release. The artists installed their paintings mid-November, and the exhibit will run through the end of spring semester. Periodically during that time, the artists will refresh the exhibit by changing the display. The exhibit is open for the general public to view free of charge every Monday thru Thursday from 8 am until 9 pm and on Fridays from 8 am until noon. The library is closed on Saturday and Sunday.
