DDA SEEKS PUBLIC’S INPUT ON PARKING IN DOWNTOWN ROME

Written by Matt Davis on February 12, 2018. Posted in News/Weather

Rome’s Downtown Development Authority seeks the public’s input about the parking situation in downtown Rome, Georgia.

Amanda Carter, DDA director, encourages local residents to participate in a  parking survey that is now available via social media.  The survey will assist her organization in determining the future of parking in downtown Rome.

Carter adds that the goal of the Authority’s Parking Services division is to accommodate all visitors to downtown Rome.

A study was recently completed by Alpharetta-based Timothy Haahs and Associates at the request of the City of Rome for the purposes of assessing the current parking management procedures and practices.  Results of this study, along with the downtown parking survey, are posted on Facebook; search for Downtown Rome, GA.  Additional information about parking in downtown Rome is available online at www.downtownromega.us.
