ATLANTA BRAVES AT NEW YORK TO FACE THE METS TONIGHT

The Atlanta Braves were off on Monday and will continue their current 10-game road trip with a three-game series in New York against the Mets tonight through Thursday.  Julio Teheran is scheduled to serve as the starting pitcher for Atlanta in tonight’s opener, while Robert Gsellman will get the start for New York.  First pitch is set for 7:10 pm at Citi Field in Flushing.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410.  Air time for pre-game programming is 5:55 pm from the Atlanta Braves Radio Network.

ATLANTA BRAVES SWEPT IN PHILLY

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Philadelphia Phillies 5-2 on Sunday in the finale of a three-game set at Philadelphia’s Citizens Bank Park, allowing the Phillies to sweep the series.  It was the Braves’ sixth straight loss.

HAWKS CONTINUE PLAYOFF RUN TONIGHT

The Atlanta Hawks will host the Washington Wizards tonight in game four of the first-round NBA playoff series between the teams.  Tip off is set for 8 pm at the Philips Arena.  Television coverage will be provided on Fox Sports Southeast and TNT.
