CATCH A FREE SHOW ON THE TOWN GREEN, COURTESY OF ROME SHAKESPEARE FESTIVAL

Written by Matt Davis on June 7, 2018. Posted in News/Weather

Locals (and visitors) have four more opportunities to catch a free show on the Town Green, courtesy of the Rome Shakespeare Festival.

“MacBeth” will be presented tonight and Saturday night.  “Much Ado About Nothing” will return to the stage on Friday and Sunday nights.

Eliot Rutledge, the actor who portrays MacBeth in the festival, indicates that tables are available to those who would like reserved seating; details may be found online at www.romeshakespearefestival.com.  Or you can just come on out to the Town Green and watch the show for free!

Festivities will begin this evening with Celtic music at 7 pm; “MacBeth” is slated to start at 8:30 pm.

Interested parties may also obtain information about the Rome Shakespeare Festival by calling the festival office at (706) 331-1006.

The 2018 Rome Shakespeare Festival officially opened two weeks ago.
