Bull riding will return to The Forum Riverside (formerly known as The Forum) in downtown Rome this weekend!  The 12th annual Three Rivers Invitational Bull Riding event will take place on Friday and Saturday evenings.

The bullriding competition is touted as “Man vs. Beast”.  Cowboy athletes will take on award winning livestock from Charlie Lowry’s 4L and Diamond S Rodeo herd during the two-night affair.  Event promoter (and retired professional bullrider) Kevin Ellis says that while some participants, like John Mastrangelo, will proceed from Rome, Georgia to bigger competitions, many will be here for the sole purpose of having a good time without concern about points or systems.

General admission tickets will be $18 at the door.  VIP seating is available for $23 per person.  Discounted tickets are available at a cost of $15 for general admission and $20 for VIP seating at United Community Bank locations in Summerville, Adairsville and Rome, West Express in Rome, Schroeder’s New Deli and Lavender Mountain Hardware in Armuchee and Haney’s Farm and Ranch Supply in Rockmart.

Parking will be free in the Third Avenue Parking Deck, according to Ellis, who urges local residents to arrive early for the event.

Gates will open for the 12th annual Three Rivers Invitational Bull Riding event at 6 pm with bullriding to begin at 8 pm nightly.
