The Atlanta Braves beat the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-3 on Sunday afternoon in the finale of a four game set at Chase Field in Phoenix, allowing Atlanta to take the series 3-1.  Thus ends a ten-game road trip that left the Braves with a total of six wins and four losses.

Max Fried returned to the mound and got the win for Atlanta after giving up three runs and nine hits, walking one and striking out seven over five innings.  Luke Jackson picked up the save, his fourth of the season.

Johan Camargo and Tyler Flowers had two RBIs each.  Nick Markakis added the defensive highlight of the game as he made a diving catch with the bases loaded to end the seventh.

The Braves are off today and will open up a six-game homestand on Tuesday evening with a match against the St. Louis Cardinals at SunTrust Park.  First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410 and the new 96.9 FM.  Air time is 6:05 pm.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves beat the Columbia Fireflies 11-0 in a Mothers Day outing at Columbia, SC on Sunday.  The teams will meet in a double header today at 5:35 pm.
