BRAVES SWEPT BY DODGERS IN LOS ANGELES

The Atlanta Braves fell to the Los Angeles Dodgers 9-4 on Wednesday night in the finale of a three-game set at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, allowing the Dodgers to sweep the series.  It marked the 10th consecutive win at home for LA.

Mike Foltynewicz took the loss for Atlanta after giving up five runs and five hits, walking four and striking out two in six innings. 

One highlight of the night for the Braves was a two-run homer from Ronald Acuna Jr off Clayton Kershaw in the top of the fourth. 

Enriquez Hernandez, Max Muncy and Justin Turner each had home runs for Los Angeles.  Kershaw was credited as the winning pitcher. 

The Braves will be in Arizona tonight face the Diamondbacks in game one of a four game set.  First pitch is scheduled for 9:40 pm Eastern.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410 and 96.9 FM.  Air time is 8:25 pm. 

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves beat the Greenville Drive 4-3 on Wednesday night at State Mutual Stadium. The teams will meet this morning at 10:30 am in an Education Day Game.
