If you are a Braves baseball fan that just can’t wait until the 2012 season begins, you’ll have a couple of chances to get your fill of the Bravos right here in Rome in the near future.  The Rome Braves Hot Stove Gathering is coming up on Monday night, January 30th at 5:30 pm at the Forum in downtown Rome.  Atlanta Braves manager Fredi Gonzalez will be the guest of honor.  The guest list also includes the 2012 Rome Braves field staff including field manager Randy Ingle.

Tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under and are available at the Rome Braves ticket office at State Mutual Stadium, the Forum box office or online at www.romebraves.com.  For $50, you can buy a ticket that includes the meet and greet with the evening’s special guests that Dunn mentioned and a gift bag.  The Hot Stove Gathering will benefit the Braves’ Miracle Field of Rome.

If that wasn’t enough to indulge your love of Braves baseball, the Atlanta Braves Caravan will be making a stop in Rome on February 6th.  According to the Atlanta Braves website, Chipper Jones, Brian McCann, Dan Uggla, Gonzalez and Braves’ GM Frank Wren will be among those making the trip to Rome.
