BOMB THREAT LEADS TO EVACUATION OF ARMUCHEE MIDDLE

A bomb threat at Armuchee Middle School led to the evacuation of the school yesterday morning.  An AMS student has been charged with terroristic threats and acts and possession of a hoax device after a suspicious package was found at the school.  The student has not been identified due to his age; he has been taken to the Rome Youth Detention Center, according to reports.  The incident was investigated by the Northwest Georgia Bomb Squad.
