ATLANTA HAWKS FALL ON THE ROAD TO BROOKLYN NETS

The Atlanta Hawks lost to the Brooklyn Nets 116-100 on Wednesday night in NBA action at the Barclays Center in New York.  It marked the second loss in a row for the Hawks, who have lost five of their last six games. 

John Collins was the top scorer of the night with 30 points for the Hawks; he also had 14 rebounds.  Trae Young had 17 points, while Kevin Huerter added 14 points and 10 rebounds. 

D’Angelo Russell scored 23 points for Brooklyn, which overcame a 19 point deficit to seal the victory. 

The Hawks are now 12-29.  They will wrap up their current three-game road trip with a stop in Philadelphia to take on the 76ers on Friday night.
