The Atlanta Braves wrapped up a six-game road trip with a 7-6 victory over the Miami Marlins in 12 innings on Sunday in the finale of a three-game set at Marlins Park in Miami, allowing the Braves to sweep the series and finish their road trip with a total of four wins and two losses.

Ronald Acuna Jr. tied the game with a three-run homer in the top of the ninth inning.

The Braves ultimately secured the victory on an RBI single from Matt Joyce in the 12th.  Joyce contributed a total of three hits on the day.

Dan Winkler picked up the win in relief, while Josh Tomlin was credited with his first big league save for Atlanta.  Adam Conley took the loss for Miami.

The Braves now possess a 36-29 record overall and are in second place of the NL East, a game behind Philadelphia.  They will return to their home field at SunTrust Park tonight to open up a 10-game homestand with a match against the Pittsburgh Pirates. First pitch is slated for 7:20 pm.  Listen to the game on WLAQ 1410 AM or 96.9 FM.  Air time is 6:05 pm.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves fell to the Lexington Legends 7-5 in 11 innings on Sunday at State Mutual Stadium.  The Braves will play host to the Charleston Riverdogs tonight at 7 pm. They will be joined by past Cy Young Award winner Dallas Keuchel, who is set to make a rehab appearance in Rome.  The Atlanta Braves signed Keuchel to a one-year, $13 million deal last Friday.
