The Atlanta Braves split a day/night double header with the Texas Rangers on Wednesday at SunTrust Park.  The Rangers won the opener 12-8, while the Braves were victorious in the nightcap by a final score of 5-4.  Texas took the three-game interleague series 2-1.

Atlanta took an early lead in game two with five runs in the bottom of the second inning, including a two-run double from Freddie Freeman.

Julio Teheran nabbed the win for the Braves after giving up three runs and five hits, walking five and striking out three over five innings.  Arodys Vizcaino picked up the save, his tenth of the season.

Luiz Gohara was tagged with the loss in the opener of the twin bill; he gave up six runs and four hits, walked four and struck out six over four innings in his major league debut.

The Braves will host the Miami Marlins in game one of a four-game set tonight at SunTrust Park.  First pitch is set for 7:35 pm.  The game will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410.  Air time is 6:20 pm.
