The Atlanta Braves beat the Los Angeles Dodgers 5-3 at SunTrust Park on Wednesday night, ending a six-game losing streak for the Braves and a nine-game winning streak for the Dodgers

Tyler Flowers led the charge with a tie-breaking, pinch-hit two-run homer in the bottom of the eighth inning.

Danny Santana also had a two-run blast for the Braves, while Cody Bellinger homered for the Dodgers.

Atlanta starter Julio Teheran gave up three runs and four hits, walked none and struck out four over five innings.  Rex Brothers was credited with the win in relief; Arodys Vizcaino got the save, his third of the season.

The Braves will conclude their three-game set against the Dodgers tonight at 7:35 pm.  The outing will be broadcast on WLAQ AM 1410.  Air time for pre-game programming is 6:20 pm.

In a minor league update, the Rome Braves took a 5-0 shutout victory from the Augusta Greenjackets in the finale of a three-game series at State Mutual Stadium on Wednesday afternoon.  It was the Braves’ seventh straight win.  They’ll open a four game set at home against the Asheville Tourists tonight; first pitch is set for 7 pm.
