ATLANTA BRAVES BACK IN ACTION IN NEW YORK FOR WEEKEND ROMP WITH THE METS

Written by Matt Davis on August 10, 2012. Posted in Sports

The Atlanta Braves were off last night and return to action with a three game series in New York against the Mets over the weekend.  First pitch of tonight’s game one is set for 7:10 pm at Citi Field.  The game will be broadcast on the AM 1410 WLAQ, Rome’s original home for Atlanta Braves baseball.  Air time for the pre-game show is 5:55 pm from the Atlanta Braves radio network.

Prior to their day off yesterday, the Braves completed a three game series in Philadelphia against the Phillies that left them with two wins and one loss.  The Braves are now four and a half games behind the Washington Nationals in the National League East (as the Nationals beat the Houston Astros last night).

The Braves will be back home at Turner Field to start a seven game home stand on Monday night that will include four games with the San Diego Padres and three with the Los Angeles Dodgers.
